Our Story

ClayClo was founded in 2017 by three passionate clay shooters: Simon Thomas, Emma Tyler, and Mark Tyler.

Simon began shooting at the age of 12 at Illey Shooting Ground and Forhill.

Emma was introduced to the sport by her father, Mark, when she was 13. Mark himself brings over 25 years of shooting experience.

The three met at the family-run Cannon Clay Club, where a shared love for clay pigeon shooting inspired the idea behind ClayClo.

Our goal was simple: to offer stylish, durable, and budget-friendly clay shooting clothing for shooters of all disciplines. We design gear that’s comfortable, practical, and made to meet the demands of the sport.

Why We Started

After struggling to find affordable, high-quality shooting apparel, we saw a gap in the market. That’s when ClayClo — short for ‘clay clothing’ — was born.

What We Offer

We offer a wide range of clay shooting clothing and accessories made for every season. From waterproof softshell jackets and fleeces to breathable sporting T-shirts and our popular mesh skeet vests, our gear is designed with performance and comfort in mind.

ClayClo apparel has gained recognition across the UK and internationally. We’re proud to supply gear to Sergeant Phil Barnes of the British Royal Navy and Royal Marines. We also have the support of British professional shooter Becky McKenzie, who proudly wears our brand.
